2.55 bugs and some more!

There was a theard about them here earlier but it got deleted so i decided to re-post it here!
Here it goes:

After hiding these for a long time i will release some... some of these bugs are very well known but i show up these bugs for those who dont know these.

Binocular Snipe Bug:

Choose Covert Ops with Sniper, write /cg_zoomdefaultsniper 66.6 in console and always when you start scoping put first binoculars on and then push key which activates scope. It will give less zoom with sniper which means you can see more with sniper scoped.

r_ commands:

r_rmse 20, r_subdivisions 999, r_depthbits 16, all these makes your gaming easier.
r_rmse is like a picmip hack making textures all blurry.
r_subdivisions 999 makes rounded corners of map angular.
r_depthbits 16

With these graphic bugs you may be allowed to see enemy through wall in some spots e.g. supply cp wooden door or you can see cp through wall if it is beside of wall.

Less spread?:

Garand with 250fps stable will give you less spread, this bug is about a bug which lowers your spread if your fps is higher than your mouse rate.

333fps mg:

333fps makes you able to shoot faster with MG-42

Rifle through roof?????

Some maps you can shoot rifle through roof, very good spot is b4 gate where you shoot left wall and rifle goes to roof and then drops at the neck of planting engineer.

Rifle through door:

You can shoot rifle through door by walking against door and shoot, doesnt work on all doors afaik.

Fps bug:

with 43,76,125,333 you jump higher and move faster.


at the moment any bugs wont pop-up to my mind now i will add later bugs if i remember one.

also doing com_maxfps 71 will reduce your damage kick and a few other things aswell

This is not a "2.55 bug", but a game engine...attribute, I would say. More notably this takes out some of your sniper recoil (also pistol, fg42 and mg42 I think), which combined with high m_pitch, sensitivity and some skill will give you practically no recoil.

I think everyone knows this already but might aswell share it.
Lower the fps, lower the sniper recoil. The difference is quite clear already with 60fps vs 125fps.

43 is best for bugging and alike by far, 76? I think it was generally gives least recoil, 125 is best for jumping:P, 333 makes you jump the HIGHEST, 500 will make you jump the LOWEST iirc, pmove_fixed 1 will "emulate" the 125-fps-physics, and 1000fps + 3rdperson\mirrors on localhost is fun .. :P
